GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Silicone-based anticorrosive solvent-based, highly resistant, suitable for exterior metal surfaces. It has great hardness, without requiring the addition of a hardener, coverability and gloss that remains unchanged over time. Its shades remain unchanged in adverse weather conditions and washing. It works softly, spreads very well and can be repainted with any alkyd or acrylic varnish.

SHADES
Available in white, black and cypress in gloss and satin finish, in gold, bronze and silver in gloss finish and in an unlimited number of shades through Vitex’s Colorfull Shade Creation System.

PROCEDURE
Surfaces must be cleaned with T 300 Brush Thinner, be dry and smooth, free of dust, oils and sanded with suitable sandpaper.
Metal surfaces are primed with an anti-rust primer (Anti-Rust Primer, New Type Minium or Metal Primer).
Metallic glossy surfaces (galvanized, aluminium, etc.) are primed with Gloss Primer or Wash Primer.

APPLICATION
The product is stirred well before use. Apply in two coats with a roller or brush diluted 5% with Brush Thinner T 300 or airless gun diluted 5% with Gun Thinner T 350. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%.
The product is dry to the touch in 2-3 hours and can be repainted after 16-18 hours. These times vary depending on the weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). Surfaces painted with Heavy Metal Silicon are washed after 30 days after painting.
Rollers, brushes and stains on the floor are cleaned with Brush Solvent T 300 and then with soap or detergent. Pistols are cleaned with Pistol Thinner T 350.
