High-strength, silicone-based, solvent-based, embossed duplicating paint, suitable for interior and exterior metal surfaces. This type of Heavy Metal Silicon contains a high percentage of iron oxide grains, which gives the painted surface a special decorative finish and at the same time offers high resistance to corrosion and ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It can also be used for wood staining.

SHADES
Available in Graphite shade which can also be used as a base for the production of 20 specially selected shades through Vitex’s Colorfull Shade Creation System.

PROCEDURE
Surfaces must be cleaned with T 300 Brush Thinner, be dry and smooth, free of dust, oils and sanded with suitable sandpaper.
The wooden surfaces, after proper preparation (passing with Diaxyl Décor wood preservative, dulling, spackling with Acrylic Building Putty and sanding), are primed with Velatura. Then the surface is sanded with a suitable sandpaper and the dust is removed.
Metal surfaces are primed with an anti-rust primer (Anti-Rust Primer, New Type Minium or Metal Primer).
After it is completely dry, it is sanded with suitable sandpaper, dust is removed.
Metallic glossy surfaces (galvanized, aluminium, etc.) are primed with Gloss Primer or Wash Primer.

APPLICATION

The product is stirred well before use. Due to its high iron oxide content, it can be applied to metal surfaces without primer, as long as the film thickness is sufficient (at least 100 μm). It is applied in two coats with a roller or brush with 5% dilution with Brush Thinner T 300 or airless gun with 10-15% dilution with Gun Thinner T 350. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%.

The product is dry to the touch in 2-3 hours and can be repainted after 16-18 hours. These times vary depending on the weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature).

Rollers, brushes and stains on the floor are cleaned with Brush Solvent T 300 and then with soap or detergent. Pistols are cleaned with Pistol Thinner T 350.
